I've been at the church today. I went first at the orthodox one and then at the Marius's church. I felt good at both at them. The priest Gabriel at the orthodox church gave us a long speech as usual. Afterwards I went to the Red Cross Society building where there is the Marius's church. They prayed and sang a lot and Marius gave a long speach. There were guests too. A girl from Cluj called Alexandra played his flute wanderfully. There came also some orfan yongsters from Perisoru, a viilage like an hour drive from here (Slobozia, Romania). After de church service we went to the rented Marius's flat and we had fellowship and enjoyed food. It was a very nice time spent together. Now I'm going to go to the fountain in the center of the town where we are meeting again for fellowship and playing songs by guitars and flute. Yes, I'm a philosophy teacher. Teach philosophy for high school. From this fall on I am a full teacher.

I like NPR. It's nice. It keeps me awake. It sometimes plays all night long, like last night, actually the morning cause I haven't sleep last night. I stayed at my computer. I talks all the time and I like it. I would like to work for NPR. I wonder if it is possible. I gotta find out. NPR is the Nation Public Radio of the United States of America. It is not financed by the US Government but it is not a private property either. I don't know exactly the way it is finaced but I feel like it is funded by some kind of donations and some of the journalists are volunteers. One of my teacher advised us to listen to NPR. I took a teaching tecnnics cours provided by the US Embassy and we had a teacher from America. She was called if I can remember, Jen. Yea, she told us to listen to NPR. She said she worked for NPR too and helped for fundrising or something. NPR is different from another radio station regarding the content. The journalism in Romania is in a developing process. You cannot compare it with the journalism in US. We don't have such tradition here like there over the ocean. I use to work in this field few years but I couldn't resist. There is not a real independent journalism. The owners of the media businesses have a quite important influence on the editorial policy. The owner of the most important media trust in Romania is also a party leader. He use his business for his political charier.

I want to go to London, but I'm not very determined to. I have a lot of things to do home and I have little money. Now I'm studying for Titularizare and then I have to study for my master exams. I have 8 exams. I'm afraid to without a contract. I will get there and I don't even have where to sleep overnight. So it'll be like a risky adventure to me. My sister told me that It worths the risk. I don''t know. Sometime I think that the most important is it to 'commute' myself from home and the rest will come well smoothly. I'll see. I have a cousin there in London but I don't dare to ask her for a shelter. That's the big problem: a shelter.

I have been in a wonderful trip in Bulgaria with my students at the Seminary. It was very nice. The Balcik resort si really neat. We stayed in a hotel just by the seashore in a small boats port. I had my balcony towords the sea. We stayed from Thursday through Sunday at noon. The food was very good and pretty cheap. The people there were very nice. Some of them could speak Romanian pretty well. Mostly the waiters and waitresses. There were some beautiful singers whom we took picture with. The difference between Romanian seashore is that they have small mountains around. the single minus I found is that the sun doesnt rise from the sea but behind the mountains. But it wonderful anyway. The students had a lot of fun. They sang and dance a lot. They even took the teachers and throw them up ceerfully , including me. I smoke with them. I bought a pipe and good tobaco and smoke.
